This is a spare part for the Volkswagen Phaeton, which replaces the Sliding Plate and Sliding Frame that are controlled by the gear lever, and which help control the gearbox

This spare part is not an exact copy of the original parts but has been tested and found to work. However, the use of non-original parts may void any warranties from the car manufacturer, or insurance you have taken out for the car.

Magnets are not included with this product. You will need to use the two magnets from your broken original Sliding Plate and transfer them to this replacement part.

Only the Sliding Plate and Sliding Frame shown in the photos are included with this product. Circuit boards, other electronics and underlying plastic console etc. are not included.

To remove the old Sliding Frame and install the new Sliding Frame, you may need to make modifications to the underlying console to which the Sliding Frame is attached. Making such modifications may void any warranties from the car manufacturer, or insurance you have taken out for the car.
